Blue Pottery

1. Moulding: The pottery makers base the pottery on ground quartz. They form and mould the dough using plaster moulds. Then, they sun-dry the moulded articles and finish them with sandpaper.
2. Colouring: Patterns are drawn and hand-painted using oxide colours.
3. Firing: The pottery is fired in traditional kilns custom-made by each artisan.

4. Max Group Size: 10 (due to the small workshop space)

Note: The drying process cannot be completed in one day, and the final product takes ten days to produce. The workshop does not operate during the monsoon season.
